Synopsis
Four kids from the refugee camp in Bethlehem decide to visit the sea for the first time in their life.
Director’s biography
Ibrahim Handal is a cinematographer and filmmaker who graduated in cinematography in 2019 from Dar Al-Kalima University. He worked as a cinematographer and director on several films including “A Short Film About a Chair” officially selected at Slamdance Film Festival, “A Short Film About Kids” officially selected at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and the Tampere Film Festival in 2024, and “Bethlehem 2001” officially selected at Locarno Film Festival and the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, among others.
