Synopsis

Rat Hole follows the life of a telemarketer of a nonprofit organization over the course of a day as she bounces from call to call in an attempt to amass enough donations to appease her manager, who agreed to lend her some money to relocate to a neighborhood with better living standards if she hits her quota.

Director’s biography

Egyptian writer and director Mohammed El-Samman is a member of the Egyptian Cinema Syndicate's Directing Department who released two highly-acclaimed novels — Unexpected MR. RIGHT and Remonda. His latest accomplishments include winning Best Script for Earthmen at the 2022 Sawiris Cultural Award and releasing the feature film Rat Hole in 2023
