Synopsis

A simple Iraqi farmer gets an unexpected guest knocking on his door. A guest who must be hidden from family, friends and 150 000 American soldiers. The guest is President Saddam Hussein.

Director’s biography

Halkawt Mustafa is an established Norwegian-Kurdish film director, screenwriter and producer born in Iraq. His second feature narrative film, "El Clasico”, received international acclaim and was selected as Iraq’s entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars. It won prizes as the Tribeca Film Festival and received the Public Choice Award at the Norwegian Academy Awards.

At the same time, Mustafa has gained unique access and knowledge as journalist, reporting from Syria, Gaza, Iraq and other parts of the Middle Eastern regio
