Synopsis

As a bold new Hamlet takes the stage, one actor slips into the role of Ophelia, channeling the memory of his late mother in a performance that blurs the line between grief and transformation. But behind the scenes, tensions rise: an ambitious understudy fights for the spotlight, while a bitter star, driven by revenge, risks destroying the play and everyone in it.

Director’s biography

Kacem Skalli, a graduate of the École Supérieure des Arts Visuels (ESAV) Marrakech, gracefully navigates the nuances of cinema and the theatrical narratives that marked his childhood. Coming from an artistic lineage, he merges his family's theatrical heritage with his innate passion for the seventh art.
