Synopsis

In a dreamlike world where reality blurs into symbolism, a woman journeys through landscapes shaped by her past relationships, both soulful and romantic. Along the way, abstract trials and recurring symbols, especially fruit, guide her path. As she moves deeper into this emotional terrain, the line between clarity and confusion fades. Ultimately, she learns that true understanding comes not from grasping every answer, but from embracing the mystery at the heart of human connection.

Director’s biography

Ghalia Haddad is a film director and visual artist based in Amman, Jordan. She holds a bachelor's degree in design and visual communication, and her work explores themes of memory, transformation, and the subconscious through surreal and emotionally driven storytelling. Ghalia's films often merge symbolic imagery with experimental narrative structures, creating a distinct visual language rooted in personal experience. She has directed three short films, including In the Embrace of the Unknown, which is currently touring the international festival circuit. Ghalia is passionate about telling human-centered stories that blur the line between reality and the inner world.
