Synopsis

A child gets exposed to severe food poisoning that almost claims his life, presenting his father with two choices: abandoning his principles and disregarding his son's rights, or upholding his dignity and the dignity of his family.

Director’s biography

Zaher Samir Kusaibati is a director, producer, and sound editor. Born in Damascus in 1991, he obtained a diploma in film directing from the Syrian Academy in 2021. He directed his first film, "Bitter Sweetness", in 2024, gaining widespread recognition. Kusaibati possesses notable skills in sound editing, earning several awards for his contributions to the sound design of various cinematic productions. Apart from his directorial endeavours, Kusaibati is also the owner and manager of "Art House for Artistic Production."
