Synopsis
A set of people suddenly awakens from death - three stories interwoven, exploring loss, grief and mortality – but also love and hope. A drama with a horror premise that deals with fundamental human emotions and the pursuit of understanding and accepting what we cannot control.
Director’s biography
Thea Hvistendahl (b. 1989) has established herself as a creative and sharp storyteller with a strong characteristic visual style. She has won several prizes for her shorts and music videos. Her debut feature length experimental film “Adjø Montebello” premiered in 2017 to great critiques. “Handling the Undead” is her debut narrative feature film.
