Synopsis

At 12, Eya's world is shaken by the sudden death of her older brother, Younès. As she navigates the silence and rituals of grief, she finds a lifeline in rap, dance, and the presence of Younès' close friends. Their creative energy helps her keep his spirit alive while slowly uncovering her own identity. Through movement, music, and the emotional turbulence of adolescence, Eya begins to make sense of her loss and reshape the world around her.

Director’s biography

Maja-Ajmia Yde Zellama is a Belgian-Tunisian-Danish filmmaker and screenwriter. A graduate of LUCA School of Arts, she is also the co-founder and president of ASBL Bledarte, a Brussels-based association that empowers and amplifies the voices of migrant youth through art and culture.
