Synopsis
A single mother works as an Uber driver to provide for her family due to issues with her divorced husband. Throughout her shifts, she encounters various forms of distress from strangers and passengers. Despite being accustomed to the difficulties she faces, she feels trapped in a monotonous daily routine.
Director’s biography
Hania Bakhashwain is a young filmmaker who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Cinematic Arts in 2022.
She has spent her time in film school exploring the craft of storytelling, focusing mostly on writing and directing while also wearing multiple hats working on short films. Bakhashwain wrote & directed her first narrative short film, "The Ride" which was screened at The Saudi Film Festival and the Red Sea International Film Festival.
