In a hospital waiting room in occupied Palestine, Hussien, a 48-Palestinian (Palestinian with Israeli citizenship) accompanies his newly widowed mother Rashida to her medical appointment. While Hussien works on his deadline for academic research on his laptop, Rashida, who has not been out of her house for three months, tries to socialize with others in her limited Hebrew.
Taha is a Palestinian filmmaker and an alumnus of the cinema and photography program at Wizo College in Haifa. He then worked as a wedding photographer alongside his older brother before becoming an integral part of the Palestinian filmmaking movement. His first project was a documentary titled "Burn”, followed by a short narrative film called "In the Waiting Room.” Currently, Taha is actively involved in his second narrative short film. To sustain himself financially, Taha works as a professional gaffer.
